About Fairplay‑33

  • The Fairplay‑33 is a 49 m ocean-going tug built in 2011 by Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries, flying Antigua & Barbuda flag and designed for harbor, offshore & salvage operations. KONAJRA’s LEGO® version captures its robust profile and distinctive towing equipment, crafted at 1:40 scale for a 125 cm display model.

The Build

  • Digitally designed in 2011 and constructed in 2012, the model required around 165 hours of CAD work and another 90 hours of physical building. It was first showcased at a major LEGO® event and later placed on permanent display at the Fairplay Towage headquarters.
