About Acala

• Smit Bison is a versatile harbor tug operating out of Rotterdam, originally commissioned in 2006 and now owned by Boskalis. KONAJRA’s LEGO® version captures its robust design and functional beauty in a 60 cm long model, complete with lifelike port fittings and accurate color scheme.

The Build

• KONAJRA’s first tugboat masterpiece began with digital CAD in LDraw, followed by hands-on assembly in 2011. Measuring 29 studs wide and 60 cm long, the model was first displayed at Legoworld Zwolle and Utrecht, before being handed over to Heijkoop Trading and showing pride of place in their collection.
