About Týr Viking

• Týr Viking is a custom-built LEGO® model of an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. Structurally based on the earlier Fairplay‑33 model, it was reimagined with a bold twist: the unmistakable yellow-and-black livery of Viking Supply Ships. The ship itself is not an exact replica of a real vessel from their fleet, but was designed in their colors purely because of their striking and unusual aesthetic—something rarely seen in LEGO® ship models.

The Build

• Týr Viking was built shortly after the FAIRPLAY‑33 model, reusing its core layout but redesigned with fresh aesthetics:
• Around 20,000 bricks
• 125 cm long
• CAD-modeled in LDraw (~165 design hours)
• Manual build completed with careful part selection and color planning
