The respective data processing purposes and data categories are to be derived from the corresponding tracking tools.

AA) GOOGLE ANALYTICS

For the purposes of demand-orientated design and ongoing optimisation of our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc.www.google.de(1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as "Google"). In this context, anonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see para. 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the page previously visited),
  • The host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and,
  • Time of the server request

is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to assess usage of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services associated with website use and internet use for the purposes of market research and to provide demand-orientated design of these internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances is your IP address associated with any other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymised so that they cannot be attributed to anyone (IP masking).

BB) GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION TRACKING

In order to collect statistics on the use of our website and for evaluation for the purposes of optimising our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. This involves Google Adwords setting a cookie (see para. 4) on your computer if you have arrived at our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer receives another cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked through the adwords customers’ websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for adwords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. The Adwords customers discover the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were forwarded to a website which has a Conversion Tracking tag. However, they receive no information that can identify users personally.

The legal basis for the use of Conversion Tracking is your given consent. You can revoke your consent for the future at any time (see para. 4)

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking procedure, you can reject the setting of the necessary cookie using your browser’s settings, where the automatic setting of cookies in general can be disabled. You can also choose to disable cookies for Conversion Tracking by adjusting your browser settings in such a way that cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" are blocked. Google's privacy notice for Conversion Tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).
