VLI-8 Beamtrawler – Digital Building Plan (.io file)
Own a piece of KONAJRA history with my very first ship design!
The VLI-8 is a classic Dutch beam trawler, a true workhorse of the North Sea. Designed and built in 2011, this model marked the beginning of KONAJRA’s journey into large-scale maritime LEGO® modeling. It is a tribute to the Dutch fishing fleet, capturing the rugged and functional look of a trawler that has braved many storms to bring in the catch.
About the Model

⚠️ Important Note for Master Builders
This is a raw design file and represents a high-level engineering challenge. Please read the following carefully before purchasing:
Design Challenges: The file may contain technical "errors" or complex part overlaps (illegal connections) that were solved manually during the original physical assembly.
Expert Level Only: These hurdles remain in the digital file. I believe a true "LEGO freak" enjoys the engineering puzzle of designing a custom skeleton and building around these issues to achieve a rock-solid final result.
